These classes call for a broad array of technical subjects and the fundamentals of real estate. These agents are truly dedicated to higher standards and ethics of the profession and have secured a strong educational foundation to serve their clients, no matter the real estate climate and are recognized nationally.
SRES – Senior Real Estate Specialist Designation: Realtors are taught how best to approach the needs of those clients over 50 when it comes to selling and moving from homes they could have owned for most of their life. Knowledge is gained on reverse mortgages, real estate planning, 1031 exchanges, and housing options. These agents have been educated on all aspects of 50+ buying and selling. They also assist in helping their clients look at options of where to move to next, whether it be with family or assisted living facilities.
GREEN Realtor Designation by the National Home Builders Green Designation, and locally the Capital Region Builders Association: These agents learn to recognize what makes a property green, how to list green homes and how to best guide buyers interested in such resources – efficient properties, discussing financial incentives, and understanding green industry rating systems, such as LEED.
E-PRO Designation: Agents spned hours learning the most updated technology to assit with the client’s real estate needs. Some examples would be various sources of social media to video programing and sending voice enhanced emails to save time and reach a mulitude of individuals to better market our listings.
